Sunday, November 2, 2008 - 2008 Statewide Solemn Assembly at the State Capitol, 1700 W. Washington in downtown Phoenix from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Purpose: to humble ourselves and bless Arizona and America during this time of the elections. The meeting will take place on the House lawn in front of the Capitol Mall. Bring your Bible, a lawn chair and water bottle. Free parking is at the southeast corner of Washington and 17th Avenue. Dee is from a small town in Oregon where the size of his church is larger than the population of the city. He is a true example of a praying senior pastor and is very practical and inspirational. Sacred Space - Every second Friday of the month the Open Door Fellowship sanctuary will be open from 6pm to 10pm for a time to soak in God's presence. There will be live worship, as well as times of silence, soft lighting, some simple prayer stations to focus our heart on God's heart for us, and for others. Communion will be available as well.
